Joyce Collier Recognized in 2027 Best Lawyers

Malvern, PA – Joyce L. Collier, a partner with Uebler Law LLC, has been recognized in the 2027 edition of The Best Lawyers in America for her work in Civil Rights Law and Labor and Employment Litigation in the Philadelphia region.

The recognition reflects a career spanning more than three decades in practice and both sides of employment law. After representing employers early in her career and rising to partner and co-chair of the employment department of a major Philadelphia law firm, Collier shifted her focus to advocating for individuals facing workplace disputes and career transitions.

Today, she represents executives, managers, educators, healthcare and sales professionals, attorneys and other employees in matters ranging from discrimination and workplace rights to employment contracts, severance negotiations and litigation. She currently serves as the vice president of the Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter of the National Employment Lawyers Association, where she is actively working on legislation to improve laws in Pennsylvania that protect workers.

Among her notable cases, Collier served as co-counsel for a group of experienced female cocktail servers who were terminated by a New Jersey casino after they did not fit the image sought for new uniforms. She also helped represent workers fired after raising concerns about injuries sustained on high-speed production lines.

Collier graduated with high honors from Rutgers School of Law and began her legal career clerking for Justice Robert L. Clifford of the New Jersey Supreme Court. She later served as an adjunct professor at Rutgers School of Law in Camden, teaching disability law. Her longstanding commitment to access to justice has also included service to the Legal Clinic for the Disabled as a board member, executive director and volunteer.
