Jun 08, 2023

Malvern, PA – Founder Julie A. Uebler and partner Joyce L. Collier of Uebler Law LLC have been named to the 2023 Pennsylvania Super Lawyers list, an honor awarded to just 5 percent of attorneys in the commonwealth. Uebler and Collier were included for their work on behalf of employees in Employment & Labor law.

Super Lawyers, part of Thomson Reuters, is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The annual selections are made using a patented multiphase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates, and peer reviews by practice area.

Uebler has practiced employment law for thirty years. She has successfully litigated cases involving employment discrimination, discriminatory harassment, breach of contract, retaliation, and wrongful discharge in violation of public policy. She also has resolved workplace disputes and claims prior to litigation through negotiated severance and settlement agreements. Uebler regularly advises executives and professionals with respect to employment matters, such as drafting and negotiating employment, executive compensation, and/or severance agreements.

Collier advises executives, managers, educators, health and sales professionals, and other attorneys with respect to contract and transition issues, negotiating severance agreements and obtaining positive outcomes so that her clients can begin the next chapter of their professional career. She is also an active litigator in state and federal court. Among her most notable cases, she represented a group of experienced female cocktail servers fired from a New Jersey casino because they did not fit the stereotype for skimpy new uniforms. Collier has also taught Disability Law as an adjunct law professor at Rutgers School of Law Camden.

Uebler Law provides advice and negotiation to individuals in Pennsylvania and New Jersey seeking to protect their rights or maximize their employment opportunities in the workplace. When needed, the firm levels the playing field through litigation of claims to pursue justice for individuals and hold employers accountable for violating workers’ rights.
